Thanks for that link.........I missed that in a search yesterday. That's ok............I can paint the camo, no biggie. The profile in the decal sheet really doesn't help with the painting of the wings.

So I'm in the midst of building my "challenge" kit..a Revell which dates from 1962. The decals are usable, but simplified and not particularly accurate. I have a much more accurate and complete set of decals for the plane I want to do, and they even date from the 1970s. The problem is, they're from a Hasegawa kit. Will that disqualify the model from the competition, or are they covered by the "Aftermarket Decals" rule?

Wheel wells from the factory were 02 with partial canvas liners. The black underside was done in the field so the wells may be completely sprayed in black or have some black overspray in them.

The gear legs would be 02 maybe with some black overspray around the tops.

Oh yeah, the Japanese thing.....forgot all about that. That's ok, I am going to finish it anyway. It was originally started for the Down N Dirty contest. I got another one I can build though and it's Merican made so no biggie.
