Those who were at the January meeting saw the F-104 that Paul Love was working on. He got it finished and has taken it to the museum in Chicago. He stopped over last Thursday so that I could photograph the final produce. Three of the photos are posted. It came out very good. Man, that Alclad sure works well.

The model is 1/48 scale. I screwed up and put one of the photos in 1/32. Jim, can you fix this?

Very cool! We are painting the F-104 that we are restoring at Evergreen in this scheme. Only difference is that we are doing #813, which is the one Joe Walker was killed in when he collided with the XB-70 Valkyrie. I was talking with Tony Landis, the photographer at NASA Dryden and he said both #811 and #812 still exist, and thought it would be great if we paint ours as #813.
